Hot on the heels of yesterday’s great news comes even better news. And by “better” I mean “worse.” Production has been delayed on Dollhouse due to script problems with episode six and seven. The LA Times has the details here.

It has been reported that Dollhouse will air Friday 13th February next year and will be paired with The Sarah Connor Chronicles. If I remember correctly this is the date Angel was cancelled in 2004.
Not gonna lie… it’s not great news.

Joss Whedon posted an update at Whedonesque with regards to what’s going on with the show. Here are the biter points:
Steve DeKnight is off as consulting producer and replacing him is the incomparable Jane Espenson.
The character of November no longer exists, but actress Miracle Laurie has been given another role.
Reed Diamond has joined the cast as the head of security at the Dollhouse. ...

Lately a small rumor has made the rounds that FOX renewed Terminator because Dollhouse wouldn’t be ready for its January launch. This rumor is widely believed to be TV Squad misinterpreting a Hollywood Reporter article.
We’ve done some digging and have found that shooting for the initial thirteen episode order is scheduled to wrap at the end of January. They’re currently filming...

Whedon-alum Amy Acker spoke to Sci Fi Wire about the role of Claire Saunders. She also mentions that Steve DeKnight is writing and directing episode five.

Dollrific interview episode two guest star Mark Ivanir. It also seems that whereas we once thought episode two was the original pilot, “Echo”, it is now a completely new episode titled “Grey Matter”.

Dollhouse is currently finishing up the new cut of its pilot in post, and filming episode 5 in West Hollywood. The show now has a 30 second introduction title sequence now which introduces the key players and sets the tone (our take: being disconnected from the world, even if you are walking around like an action hero – with a hint of creepy). Expect to be singing ”What you don’t know...
