It's great to hear that Dollhouse will make it to Canada. We haven't had anything up here since Tru Calling and we even missed the last episode. Eliza is far too talented to forget so it's great that she's back. Has anybody seen her last works since Tru Calling??? Are any of these movies ever gonna hit the big screen? We all miss her here...

While there's little to actually comment on yet, I've hope that 'Dollhouse' will last a little while longer than 'Firefly' did with Fox's abilities to blatently (and randomly) delete programming.

Though, I must admit, that I sense bits of missing plots with River coming out in this programming (not that I mind!).

I must say, I'm terribly excited about this new series.

I'm worried, however, about a news posting that I found on The Wall Street Journal, which indicates that like Firefly, the pilot episode of the series will not air. Here is a direct quote:

Hey everyone!!! My name is Shelby and I'm a huge Jossfan!

Ever since I heard about Dollhouse I've been really excited because I knew that it would be good because it came from Whedon's genius brain. Eliza Dushku is an amazing actress and I've like everything I've seen of hers so far.

I'm also happy that Amy Acker will be in it too. She was hilarious as Fred and great as Kelly Peyton in Alias.

I'm dying for more Whedon stuff. Anything will do. I started the Firefly series DVD set, again. This is the tenth time I'll have watched it from begining to end, not including all the episodes I've watched out of order or on t.v. I can't get enough. I need to start collecting the Angel DVD's I think. I wasn't a fan of the show but if Joss is writing I'm watching/reading (I'm a comic book fan too).

More "Angel" crew alumni in the "Dollhouse" -- much of the "Angel" cinematography crew, including director of photography Ross Berryman, gaffer Dan Kerns (who wrote the "Angel by the Numbers" production essay for the "Five Seasons of Angel" book), etc.

So anyway it's kind of odd being involved in a fandom from the very beginning, before I found the Universal Serenity site I wasn't really aware such places existed but oh how my life has changed since that fateful day.

As many of you will remember, Tim Minear -- who worked with Joss Whedon on both Angel and Firefly and is a consulting producer on Dollhouse -- is busy putting together Miracle Man for ABC. It's a series about a disgraced televangelist preacher, and sounds rather super smashing great. (That's not sarcasm - I'm British, I'm allowed to say smashing once a year).

So.. I'm thinking.. and talking to my jules baby.. so this is where I'm at. I know many ppl love buffy.. and get it.. and many suffered/enjoyed that addiction I have. It's something about whedon..
