We salute you, Miracle Laurie.

Miracle Laurie was cast waaaay back on this project, and announced by Joss himself on the interwebs.

Yesterday, she was ‘wrapped out’ of Dollhouse – which means she filmed her final scenes.

It’s been a pretty incredible journey, hasn’t it Miracle?

She’s been incredible to watch, and one of the cooler actresses I’ve met. She’s very talented, and I hope to see her on other shows soon. Yes, I’m looking at you, Producer People.

Filming on the final ever Dollhouse episode — titled “Epitaph Two: Return” — begins today in LA. Dollverse is over two years old now — I’ve decided when the finale wraps and when the final episodes have aired, we’ll do something to mark the occasions. I’m not sure what yet.

  1. PaperSpock says:

So this means she’s not in the final episode? That’s too bad…

  2. VichusSmith says:

She’s done? Well, that shouldn’t suprise me: the whole show’s done :(

On to other topics, Epitaph 2? Was that just something to get me to giggle, or is that a real episode? I hope it’s real!

  3. Josh says:

Filming began yesterday on Epitaph 2, Maurissa said on her twiter that today the 8th was the 2nd day of filming the last episode. So hopefully, fingers crossed that since yesterday was Miracles last day of filming means she got to film some scenes for the final Epitah 2 episode…I HOPE!

  4. Wait, so no more November/Mellie/Madeline? Because, ya know, I was kind of hoping for a second romance to bloom between Paul and Madeline.

I really liked Miracle’s character. Hell, I’m just sad about the whole show ending.

  5. Phoenix says:

Well, if “Epitaph Two” is subtitled “The Return,” then it’s likely going to be something like the original “Epitaph” where the only appearances from the series regulars were in flashbacks brought on by the imprinting machinery, so it wouldn’t make sense for Madeline/November to reappear. Somehow, knowing the Jossverse and seeing the end to her arc on “The Left Hand,” I’m willing to bet that poor Madeline is in for a tragic ending. Watching Miracle play her role in “Needs” and “Briar Rose,” though, I have no doubts that she’ll make it gutwrenching, whatever it is.

  6. I love read these pages, the notes describing what’s going on and the comments that follow. I SALUTE you, too, Miracle (not sure what saluate is) – you, as well as the rest of the cast, will be mixed. I forsee a big blowup like Firefly/Serenity had (where it became bigger after it was cancelled.) Just my prediction, can’t wait for the future eps.
