Preview trailer for season 2 episode 2

  1. Jana says:

    AWESOME

  2. Warlocklord says:

Seems like Echo is becoming more and more like Alpha. I am glad to see Joss finally creating a “darker” episode.

  3. Creid says:

I’m really hoping this episode is better than the preview leads on

  4. M says:

Sorry, this looks terrible. I thought we were going to be subjected to less of the “this week she’s a pastry cheff” type episodes.

    :/

  5. N says:

What M said. This looks like just another one of Echo’s engagement-of-the-week episodes. ZZZZzzzz

Honestly, this is an ensemble show. The Doucheku might be the least interesting character behind Sierra. Moar Ballard/Topher/Dewitt/Boyd/Whiskey, plz.

    • Rainfly_X says:

I completely disagree about it being “just” an engagement of the week. It’s engagement+Echo’s Falling Apart. That makes a world of difference, breathing life into what would be the doldrums of another standalone job. And don’t forget that there are plenty of lose ends from the pilot that are bound to be traced farther in every ep.

That said, it does sometimes surprise me how untapped Sierra’s potential is (especially the relationship with Victor), and how bad they’ve dried up the well with Dushku. Eliza’s got plenty of good story left in her, but Joss will burn out the audience if he doesn’t ease up. She really shouldn’t be as big a character when the evolution plot isn’t going through major advances.

  6. B says:

I do hope that the episode has a more interesting sub-plot about what’s happening at the dollhouse. Actually, anything to do with whiskey, be it the drink or the lady. Both could be gloriously sad. Not really interested in the engagements/fights, very interested in the wacky fun that is people losing it in what looks like a spa due to stress. Also I miss happy Topher, but it does make him more interesting to see him losing his bliss to reality.

Later on this season I have utmost confidence that Summer Glau will appear out of nowhere and steal the show entirely and everyone else will become an extra. It’s sort of how it works.

  7. Kochen says:

i love Eliza Dushku. but i kinda hope what B said come true..because i love Summer Glau more!!! haha.however, i don’t mind if they kick ass together..that will be better.

  8. Mary says:

creeeeeeeeepy. haha but i’m glad the dude that was in Tru Calling is back for an ep! haha
