Also note: some customers are seeing multiple charges on their credit card statements. These are authorization charges only and will be promptly refunded. You will only be charged once for your purchase.

is anyone going to twitter or post a message when it goes back up or should we just keep pushing refresh over and over again?
My friend and I were planning on buying this today and I was gonna pick both our copies up at SDCC. But either the site was messed up or Fox didn't make it blatantly clear that regardless of if you're picking up a copy for a friend or yourself that you are limited to obtaining 1 COPY at SDCC per pick up name.
So my friend got his order in (somehow before the whatever glitches shut the site down this morning) and I was left out with the statement "That buyer or pickup user (me) has already purchased this title, sorry limited to 1 per customer."
If you want one it looks like you're gonna have to be selfish and deny your friends who want it as well
My card was charged 4 times yet I didn't even get a confirmation number to contact customer service. How is this going to be handled?
And when we get to Comic Con and they won't give us the dvd because we don't have any sort of confirmation number? We bring our f'd up credit card statement?
Tams, there's a contact phone number on FoxStore.com. I'd be very tempted to give them a call and ask.
Pretty obviously, the sale wasn't supposed to go like this. 5000ish people trying to order at one time doesn't work, it turns out. Which, you know, somebody should have thought about in advance.
I called Foxstore.coms help number and they said that all my (specific) purchase attempts came up with a "declined" status for my credit card(s); obviously one of the glitches they were having or I'm in big trouble and don't know it.
I'd just keep trying to order it until either you get a confirmation number or the site says they're sold out. Remember, you only need to pick up one copy and anything else will be refunded to you after the convention.
Your CC company should be able to say if you've definitely been charged, authorised or whatever.
And yes, if you're international (like me) you can't order it.

Well, my CC called me and asked about a charge to Fox and I said it was ok and to let it through (dunno why they were worried though). I called Foxstore.coms service line and the woman there said I was charged 3 times (didn't say which CCs as I tried 2 different ones) and she said that they were all declined.
I dunno what's going on with their orders/ordering site, but it bugs me that I woke up a the crack of dawn to be first to order this and now who knows when the site will be up and running again? I'd hate it if I have to rely on hopefully getting one of the left overs on Sunday :/
Anonymous, if your credit card company has allowed the charge it sounds like you've been billed to me, surely?
All I know for sure is they're trying to fix it (the ordering site) now.
Does anyone know if the one pickup name-one DVD only issue will get fixed? I have a friend who's going, but I don't want to steal away her chance to get one.
The pre-order site is back up bit it's still denying my CC and it's telling me that my name has already placed an order (because of my friend having me as pick-up no doubt)

For now your only real comfort can be trying to re-order the set and seeing if you're denied or not. If you are, your order probably has gone through
