Dollhouse has more than time than usual, previous whedon shows used to be 42 minutes ( without adds) Dollhouse is about 49 minutes!! If it excels that, of couse it has to be cut and is the writer or director of the ep( or whedon) who decides what is going to be cut down and by the way editing a show is what makes it good, if you film everything and don´t edit is going to be a total mess!!!
