Does anyone know if the cut scenes will be on the BR or DVD release for sure? I hope so, DH fans shouldn’t be forced to watch edited shows just because Fox wants their money; if they want to draw viewers in, editing programs is not getting my vote.
Kegan: Agreed. Here’s hoping Kevin’s right, and they DO end up on both the DVD and BR release as deleted scenes, because the whole “therapy/treatment” scene sounds hilarious.
Time pressures are a fact of life – you couldn’t have shows lasting longer than an hour, you’d be to redefine all of television in terms of schedules to do that.
Nobody knows for sure if it’s on the DVD. If they’re not on the DVD I may see if I am allowed to post the scenes here myself.
They won’t be on the DVD, cause this is fake. It’s pretty obvious a fan got a little creative with scripped.com. No writer would write a 80+ minute script for a one hour show, plus, I’m sure they know how to spell check, as well as all the basic script formatting rules. Kudos, though.
Hey sweet Kegan, every Tv show on every channel has a especific lenght, didn´t you ever noticed that?? Dollhouse has more than time than usual, previous whedon shows used to be 42 minutes ( without adds) Dollhouse is about 49 minutes!! If it excels that, of couse it has to be cut and is the writer or director of the ep( or whedon) who decides what is going to be cut down and by the way editing a show is what makes it good, if you film everything and don´t edit is going to be a total mess!!!
“No writer would write a 80+ minute script for a one hour show”…so tell me, who the hell would transcript an entire script, with all dialogues and visual details, plus add more scenes and dialogues in just one day from the airing of the episode? sounds a lot less likely…
Anonymous, if you actually worked in the industry, you’d know that TV writing is an imprecise science–scenes often run over or under. This description is professional-quality, and has a Tim Minear flavor besides. Also, *aside* from the two brief bounty hunter scenes, pretty much everything else made it in.
Jesus could you pick a worse script-reading app? Oh yeah, I LOVE clicking the down arrow and having it scroll uncontrollably right down to the bottom. I think it’s great. GET YOUR FUCKING SHIT TOGETHER.
Dollverse is an award winning website which takes you inside Joss Whedon and Eliza Dushku's FOX TV series, DOLLHOUSE. It started as a 5 minute a day thing, then we got a bit lost in the Dollverse.
DOLLHOUSE is a multi-award winning television series about getting lost down the rabbit hole of society and self, which airs FRIDAY, 9/8c on FOX - and across the world.
Arrrrgghhhh!!!
So the stuff they cut out of Sierra and November sounds like some of the best scenes in the show????
Pleeeease tell me this is going to be on the Blu-Ray?
I’ve heard some of the cut stuff may be on the DVD/Blu-Ray as deleted scenes.
Drat about time pressures. I would really have liked to see the missing bounty hunter stuff with Sierra and November.

My main interest is Adelle’s reaction to Victor. It looks as if she *is* invested in him beyond the ‘Roger’ imprint.

The script is absolutely not fake.
VVRRRRROOOOMMM! They’re both cut off by MOTORCYCLES. omg!!
