“Epitaph One”. Thanks to wiesengrund for throwing us a bone and Maurissa for confirming. That’s all the pieces of the episode name puzzle complete.
Teleplay by Maurissa Tancharoen and Jed Whedon. Story by Joss Whedon. Directed by Joss Whedon.

I was kinda sad to know that is not going to be a whedon script, only the story…still hoping for the best though
it is gonna be a whedonscript.
JED WHEDON.
It says something positive about the script that Joss believes in it enough to direct the script…as well, to make it the season final. His brother, and soon to be sister in-law, worked with him on Dr. Horrible, which was very good, so I expect the same from this episode.
I just wanna mention that actually Maurissa threw us the bone herself. She mentioned the name of the finale on the Dollhouse Wikia.
well, it´s not a joss script then, I don´t think it´s about believing the script, he wrote the story and surely planed it as the final, but he probably had no time to write the script for having to handle other things…
What worries me is that these two were the ones that wrote stage fright, the worst episode so far…
I own all the Buffy & Angel series, but I wonder if Joss Weadon has written the big end scene for this character. I'm tring people, but the show is dull, and a Friday night line up does it no good.
The series rocks. Me and my wife refuse to miss it!
I personally think it’s one of the best shows to come out of the states in years….twists, turns and suspense every time….genius. I only pray FOX doesn’t do it’s usual and cancel yet another gem…

I am so sick of these networks playing their games. Finally a series I get interested in enough to actually tune in to Fox (thanks Hulu!), and miss an episode and have to wonder about next season. Keep it up and we the public will look elsewhere for entertainment.
This show needs to continue… I actually became rather interested in it. I like the characters I love the concept. It just needs to stay on the air.
Thank god I finally found this post. I thought my tivo had malfunctioned since I didn’t realize the May 8 ep was the season finale.
I think this show is one of the most inventive shows on the air right now. Today, all of the hit shows are about law enforcement and medicine and family sitcoms(Which we have seen played over and over and over). I do enjoy all of these overplayed shows, but it truly captures me when a show as unique as Dollhouse pops up. Let’s hope this show makes it another season.
just so everyone knows… it was renewed! =D
