The people that say Blu-Ray isnt much better than DVD are dead wrong. They probably havent even watched a Blu-Ray on a high def tv. I used to think that Blu-Ray couldnt be that much better than DVD....then i actually saw a Blu-Ray playing on a high def tv in Best Buy...then a couple of days later I bought a 42" 1080p plasma and a PS3!!!
